For as long as I can remember, nature has been where I return to feel grounded. Like many people, I spent years searching for ways to support my mental and physical wellbeing, taking breaks from a demanding corporate career to seek awe and wonder on wild adventures. While those times always filled me with joy, they never created the lasting change I was searching for.
With parenthood came a new sense of urgency to heal more deeply, rise rooted, and help create a brighter future for my family and community. That journey led me to Nature Therapy. More than seven years later, it remains at the heart of both my personal practice and my life's work.
I believe Nature Therapy is an invitation to remember that we are nature—that our wellbeing and the wellbeing of the Earth are deeply intertwined.
Through The Wild Edge, I guide Nature Immersion experiences, retreats, and workplace and community programs that help people slow down, regulate their nervous systems, and reconnect with themselves, one another, and the living world.
Professional credentials: Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide (7+ years), Mentor and Trainer with the Global Institute of Forest Therapy, Registered PaRx Nature Prescription Connector, Director with the UNESCO Frontenac Arch Biosphere Network, Climate Café Facilitator, and Level II Tera Mai Reiki Practitioner.
My own Nature Connection practice continues to guide and ground me every day. Whether I'm sitting quietly beneath a pine tree, swimming in a sparkling lake, or simply pausing to watch hummingbirds, I am reminded to slow down and notice the quiet wisdom of the living world. It is here that I continue my own journey of healing, resilience, and belonging.
