Ready to become a change catalyst in healing our sense of separation from the more than human world? This work is fulfilling and powerful. When we spend time in nature we experience benefits to our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual selves,….and as facilitators you will learn the science behind these benefits, and the simple yet effective ways to invite this experience- even for those who don’t have a strong sense of nature connection yet.
When we ALSO have the opportunity to practice mindfulness in nature practices, the benefits grow and we build personal unshakable resilience that can benefit a lifetime of human experience. What a wonderful gift for those you care about, youth in your community and all of us who are wanting to build a more beautiful, connected, resilient world!
As we deepen our sense of embodied connection, when we are able to listen to our own highest wisdom and the wisdom of the world around us, and we feel deeply connected to the more than human world, our intention of reciprocity grows. We care for the world around us more deeply.
Our training will support your professional journey and provide DUAL certification as a Certified Nature Connection Facilitator, and as a Certified Forest Therapy Guide.
A great fit for clinical therapists, social workers, community workers, nature guides, youth workers,…..anyone who can see the value of mindfulness in nature for their clients and community!
EVENT DATES
Next Start date June 14-19, 2026, (in person event) Nanaimo BC, Canada (on Vancouver Island)
followed by a 6 month Practicum. (delivered online)
REGISTRATION OPEN- Taking applications (space is limited)
Tuition Fees- Early Bird price $3,800.00
Meals and Accommodation for June 14-19th in person event are extra*
$1,250 for SINGLE ROOM and all MEALS x 5 nights
$1,050 for SHARED ROOM and all MEALS x 5 nights
(Note ALL ROOMS have shared bathrooms)
Naturally Resilient’s 6 Month Program for Dual Certification includes:
A 6 day in person immersion event to start your training journey
6 month distance study Practicum with assignments to deepen your work locally
Live video conference training and discussion sessions each month
Personal Mentor support session each month
Ongoing training, community and contracts an option. We are keenly interested in seeing you succeed in your professional work, and our community reflects the values we hold in deep connection.
Additional requirements to attain Naturally Resilient’s Dual Certification include a current Wilderness First Aid Certificate, and we highly recommend a Wilderness Mental Health First Aid Certificate as well.

Once your Application has been processed, a Tuition deposit of $1,000 will hold your seat, and 50% payment to reserve your meals and accommodations. Full payment for both Tuition and Meals/Accommodations is due 1 month before the program start date.
