This 4 Day Contemplative Retreat will invite you to slow down to explore the present moment, engage our senses in nature connected invitations and explore a nature connected contemplative practice.
What if deep listening led to a greater sense of connection and an even more compassionate heart?
There is a growing body of research to show that nature based contemplative practice and listening deeply can support our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.
In this retreat we will explore those concepts in group discussions, practice some new skills and have plenty of spaciousness to engage in our nature connected contemplative practice.
We invite small, intimate groups
We will often be outside, sometimes sitting on the ground, sometimes walking slowly over uneven terrain on forest pathways and distances of 1-2km.
No experience is necessary, however those with a current contemplative practice will find depth and spaciousness here.
A spiritual practice is not required, though there is openness to include that and we invite safe space for all beliefs and practices
In this retreat we will sometimes use language that recognizes the sentience and wisdom of all the world around us
Your Facilitators Karen Laine and Trevor Potter are skilled in teaching nature connection practices, forest therapy, deep listening, contemplative and meditation practices
